Are you a licensed and insured general contractor?
Yes. Fisher Remodeling is fully licensed and insured, and we carry general liability coverage on every job. Proof of insurance is available with your estimate before any work begins.
How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on the scope. A bathroom refresh and a full kitchen overhaul are very different projects. We provide a free, itemized written estimate after an on-site walkthrough, so you know exactly what each part of the job costs before you commit to anything.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We walk your home, talk through what you want, measure the space, and put together a clear line-by-line quote.
What areas do you serve?
McHenry County and Chicago's northwest suburbs, including Cary, Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Elgin, Huntley, McHenry, Woodstock, Barrington, Palatine, Schaumburg and more. If you're nearby and don't see your town listed, call us, we very likely serve you.
How long does a typical project take?
Most bathrooms take one to two weeks, kitchens two to four weeks, and basement finishes three to five weeks. Additions vary with size and permitting. We give you a realistic schedule up front and keep you updated daily as the job progresses.
Do you handle small jobs or only full remodels?
Both. A single window replacement, a deck repair, or a tile job gets the same attention as a whole-home project. Our tagline is you name it, we do it, and we mean it.
Who will actually be working in my home?
Our own courteous, on-time crew, supervised by owner Will Fisher, who is your single point of contact from the first walkthrough to the final walkthrough. We don't hand your project off to subcontractors you've never met.
Do you help with design and material selection?
Yes. We help you choose cabinetry, tile, counters, flooring, and fixtures that fit your home and budget, and we handle ordering and delivery so materials are on site when the crew needs them.
